The Ted Baker menswear collection for Autumn/Winter 2012 is a celebration of Great Britain’s Great Outdoors, featuring a colour palette of earth tones including burnt orange, mustard, nettle green, and ”burnished berries” set amongst classic fit outerwear and knitwear that pay homage to the forests and woodlands of his homeland. Heritage fabrics mix well with modern fabrics on garments. Keep an eye out for Ted Baker’s use of patchwork on elbows and shoulders as well as tweed hits on nylon vests and waxed canvas details on puffy jackets.
Fans of the patterns will appreciate the steam train and pheasant inspired linings on tweed and wool jackets. We even seen dips into the Navajo culture with prints on crew necks and cardigans. Fans of classic British outerwear will certainly feel the appeal of Ted Baker’s Autumn/Winter 2012 menswear collection.
Also of note is the opening of the new Ted Baker Grand House boutique on Fifth Avenue, New York City happening August 9-12. The new Ted Baker boutique takes deco-style architecture as its inspiration and asks shoppers to find their inner Gatsby. More information is available at the Ted Baker Facebook page.
